B. MICHAEL KORTE of THE KORTE LAW FIRM participated in a panel discussion recently at the St. Louis University School of Law, as part of a panel discussion on February 14, 2018.
Participating with Chris Archer of Archer & Lassa, and Commissioner John Larsen, Jr. the Chair of the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission of Missouri, Korte and his fellow panel members discussed a range of topics associated with Missouri worker’s compensation, focusing on the compensability of claims, but also touching on practical aspects of the field of practice in work comp.
“I was honored to be asked back to participate with such excellent scholars of the law as Chris Archer and Commissioner Larsen,” said Korte. “It is always rewarding to speak to students and young attorneys. In fact, they raised some emerging issues, such as remote or at-home workers, that gave us all something to think about and discuss.”
Korte will next speak on April 20, with Archer, at the annual seminar of Kids’ Chance of Missouri, as well as on May 31, at the annual Workers’ Comp seminar of The Missouri Bar, and is once again scheduled with Archer to present their popular annual case law summary at the Annual Conference of The Missouri Division of Workers Compensation on August 16.
