B. Michael Korte of The Korte Law Firm, LLC, has agreed to speak at the 2021 Annual Workers’ Compensation Institute of The Missouri Bar.
As was the case in 2020, this year’s Institute will be a virtual event, broadcast to MOBAR members four times in April and May.
Korte will once again be co-presenting with Cara Harris, Chief Counsel of the Labor Division of the office of the Missouri Attorney General and Michael F. Banahan of Evans and Dixon LLC, updating developments in Missouri work comp case law since last year’s Institute.
Korte is a Fellow in the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. He is the author of Volume 29 of the Missouri Practice series of West Publishing Company, Workers’ Compensation Law and Practice, and its addendum, Volume 29A.
He is a recipient of the Workers’ Compensation Distinguished Lawyer Award of The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and Kids’ Chance, the Outstanding Service Award for his service as a former president of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and has been recognized annually since 2014 by The Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group, a nationwide workers’ compensation bar association as one of the top 100 workers’ compensation attorneys in America.
